Note: This is not the be all, end all to Alex’s powers. If I’m wrong, I’m more than welcome to corrections. Feel free to add more information to the bottom if you have it, as well. And yep, there is a cut. This thing is long.
Like Havok in XMFC, Havok in the comics deals in plasma energy. Though as you can tell from the picture, the energy he uses ends up blue-white instead of the red that is used in the film. The film-makers chose to use ‘red’ to indicate an association with the plasma that Cyclops uses.
